awoken

awoken
awoken pp. of AWAKE (Cf. awake) (v.); also see AWAKEN (Cf. awaken). The tendency has been to restrict the strong p.p. (awoken) to the original intransitive sense of awake and the weak inflection (awakened) to the transitive, but this never has been complete.
