cachinnation
cachinnation (n.) "loud laughter," 1620s, from L. cachinnationem (nom. cachinatio), noun of action from pp. stem of cachinnare "to laugh immoderately or loudly," of imitative origin. Cf. Skt. kakhati "laughs," Gk. kakhazein "to laugh loudly," O.H.G. kachazzen, English cackle, Arm. xaxanc'.
