ambidexterity (n.) 1650s, from obsolete adjective ambidexter "two-sided, using both hands with equal facility," also "double-dealing," from M.L. ambidexter (see AMBIDEXTROUS (Cf. ambidextrous)) + -ITY (Cf. -ity).
