dominatrix (n.) "dominant female entity," attested since 1560s, though not in quite the usual modern sense ("Rome ... dominatrix of nations" [1561]). See DOMINATION (Cf. domination) + -TRIX (Cf. -trix). Modern BDSM sense attested by 1976.
