Francophile
Francophile 1875 (adj.), from FRANCO- (Cf. Franco-) + -PHILE (Cf. -phile). “A newspaper word” [OED]. Its opposite, Francophobe, is recorded from 1890 (implied in Francophobic; Francophobia is from 1862).
